To meet or exceed the requirements of ISO 14001:2005, we adopt the philosophy of ‘beyond minimum compliance’ at all levels of operation, which involves care and consideration for the environment through the following channels:

- Integrated waste management and minimisation
- Sustainability of design and construction activities

High levels of training and competence are also essential and we have established requirements in line with the principles of the Major Contractors Group.
For Anglo Holt, the provision of the correct equipment, protective clothing or plant to our employees is paramount in achieving the safe execution of any area of work. We insist that a similar standard is adopted by all of our sub-contractors during the life of the contract.
Detailed early planning for health and safety is carried out as part of the integrated management process covering all aspects of the construction project. Consultation with the design team and supply chain forms a key part to this

RoSPA GOLD AWARD
Anglo Holt received The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents Merit Award in 2001, in recognition of the company’s achievement of a high level of performance in this crucial area.
As a result of our ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety, Anglo Holt followed this up with the ‘Bronze Award in 2002, Silver 2003 and the prestigious Gold award was awarded in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
FORD Q1 AWARD
The Ford Motor Company has awarded its prestigious “Q1 2002 Award“ to Anglo Holt Construction.
The Q1 2002 award means that Anglo Holt Construction joins membership of an elite group of companies with enhanced preferred supplier status. The award by Jaguar and Land Rover as part of Ford’s Premier Automotive Group applies across all brands under the Ford trust mark.
Ford Q1 criteria required Anglo Holt to demonstrate excellence in four crucial sectors. These pivotal subjects focused on capable systems; continuous improvement; ongoing performance and customer satisfaction ratings.
